Our Approach

Covid has reshaped every aspect of our lives and education is no exception. The world is learning to learn online but the main reason why online education hasn’t skyrocketed is because all platforms are designed to simply deliver content (whether pre-recorded or live). Online learning doesn’t feel natural, warm or relatable.

Taking an analogy from the gaming world, edtech so far consists of single player games designed only for access but not engagement & retention. The only actions one can take is content consumption and practice via multiple choice questions. We, on the contrary, think education is an immersive multiplayer experience!

If our children are going to learn online we will have to make it social. That’s how learning happens best. We think we’re amongst the first few companies in the world trying to push the boundaries of edtech to a new era of highly social & community driven learning.

We have raised a Series A led by Accel and Matrix Partners and a select few angels to help us realize this dream.


Preliminary requirements for the role

  • The person should have handled a team of at least 6 people directly in the last 2 years. Ideally would prefer someone who has risen in the ranks from the being a tele-caller themselves

  • Has been involved in hiring, setting up processes and month on month incentive structure for the team.

  • Excellent language skills in at least two languages - English and Hindi .

  • Prior experience in edtech sales preferred (but should come without pre-set baggage) Prior experience in sales for premium brands, products, services is a big plus

  • 3 yrs of experience in managing inside sales/outbound sales/telesales

Responsibilities 

Setting up Process and Metrics

  • The candidate must understand and oversee creating processes and metrics (like Turn around time, Productivity, service levels, call time analysis, conversion rates, creating escalation, query forwarding, per personnel cost -direct and indirect etc) of the concerned team and report it to the manager.

  • The candidate will have to work closely with the marketing and supply team to communicate changes to better the sales funnel and share consumer feedback

  • Create accountability for each sales person to self monitor the performance

  • Giving feedback to tech and supply team to create scalable (tech driven processes) instead of manual processes

Daily Monitoring

  • Being a crucial part of the entire value addition team, he/she must be able to lead the team under him/her to assess outputs, solve day to day problems and administrative efforts like rostering and leave management for the team.

Quality Check, Audits and Certification

  • Upholding the quality of calls through a predefined set of metrics for process adherence, issue resolution index and soft skill levels.

  • Routine training and retraining and certification of all members for quality and process knowledge

Engage, Review and Hiring of team members

  • The candidate would be involved in hiring for churned candidates on a month on month basis the team requirements

  • The candidate will also be ensuring harmony and maintaining employee satisfaction index in their team through activities and reviews.

Being pro-active

  • Pro-active in identify customer needs and demonstrate hustle to run new initiatives, discounting campaigns, and use right modes (email, Whatsapp, phone, web tools, social skills) to nurture and share information with customers as per market needs and company product innovation
